Here's a top 5 list of the worst successful rappers ever. Many others were notably mentioned but these 5 are not to be taken lightly. Cheers to the American dream where we look at some the least lyrical artists ever to record a hip-hop song. Thee Infamous "5 Worst Rappers Of All Time"List.
#5. PUFF DADDY "DIDDY"
With as much success he has accomplished through producing, being a multi-million dollar record exec, clothing labels, cologne, acting, stand-up comedy shows and reality shows, he has never fully found his way into the world of being a true lyricist. Other than "Victory", the bars of Bad Boys founder have always lacked in originality as well as punchlines or rhymes worth praising. But as Hov said, "Would you rather be underpaid or over-rated?" With that Diddy money, it has no effect on the money accumulated. Respect Diddy, I aint mad at you.
#4. NICK CANNON
Many can say that Nick Cannon has a pretty impeccable resume' to say the least until it comes to his musical side of entrepreneurship. One of the few childhood stars who made it to adult stardom as well. With that being said, his music is nowhere near his other slightly above average abilities and talents. With that being said, he made out pretty good and is now the Chairman of TeenNick for Nickelodeon and still spitting aimless bars for comic relief on his newest season of Wild N' Out.
#3. BABY AKA "BIRDMAN"
"Cash Money Records Takin Over For The 99 And The 2000s." A quote by Juvenile that (once I heard it at least) I believed was going to be a classic quote that my generation will remember for as long as we exist. I am not a fan of his lyricism by far, but I do respect this man's hustle. Drake and Nicki Minaj (two of the biggest artist in the industry today) have this guy over them. But it is always something rare and forgetful once the boss pens a verse instead of a multi-million dollar deal. None will replicate what Birdman does on and off the mic and quite frankly, that's how I believe it shall be. Keep the money train rolling Birdman, cant knock the hustle.
#2. SILKK THE SHOCKER
Master P's younger brother is so far high on the list because of his lack of catching the beat. Am I the only who seems to think he wasnt aware it was his turn until about 2.5 seconds too late? I can't really hate because Silkk is a valued member of the Notorious No Limit I grew up on and respect to this day. Maybe his flow was intentional and used to keep me listening? Is Silkk actually a Hip-Hop mastermind?
#1. SOULJA FUCKIN' BOY
Anyone ever wondered if they never bought ringtones would this guy ever exist (or at least be relevant)? I respect a successful young self-made black male but I cant seem to look past his sub-par
lyrics. Where were you the first time you heard "Crank That Soulja Boy"? And where were you when you couldn't stand to hear it yet again?
NOTABLE OTHERS
WAKA FLOCKA, SHAQ, CHINGY, DEION SANDERS, CHIEF KEEF, GUCCI MANE, CHRIS WEBBER, MC HAMMER.
